Secondary Mini-Grant FAQ

About Middle School/High School Mini-Grants

PURPOSE: To provide an opportunity for TCSRA members who are public school employees to acquire materials or provide experiences for their students above and beyond what is paid for by district funds. The materials or experiences should supplement and enhance building or district goals.

TCSRA members are eligible for awards of up to $400.

WHERE CAN I GET AN APPLICATION? Click on the link at the bottom of this page to open an application to complete and submit online. Please note: Food, stickers, toys, trinkets, or fidgets for students are not funded, unless they are an integral part of units or lessons.  

WHERE SHOULD I SEND MY COMPLETED APPLICATION?  Submit your application online from this website.

WHAT IS THE DUE DATE? Applications must be submitted from this website by November 30, 2025, for consideration.

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I AM A RECIPIENT?  If your project is among those selected, you will be notified in December and checks will be distributed in January.

IF I BECOME A TCSRA MEMBER TODAY, WILL I QUALIFY FOR THE $400 MINI-GRANT? Yes! Go to the homepage on this website and click on “Membership Page” to join. (You must have joined by the date of your application for a grant.)
