Doctors report that people are still complaining about not being able to breathe through their masks. Yoga breathing is suggested. Yoga breathing involves pushing down the diaphragm muscle in the middle of your torso and allowing the abdomen and lungs to fully expand. To practice proper abdominal breathing, place your hands around your midsection, so that your fingers are pointed toward the front and your thumbs toward the back. Slowly take in a deep breath, allowing your abdomen to expand as if your belly were a balloon. Then exhale, picturing your abdomen deflating slowly.
