WELCOME La Conner School District!!!  Starting in August of 2019, and continuing through October and November our Unit 21 Membership Team shared “goodie bags” and signed up 25 new Skagit, Island, San Juan members.  The goodie bags held pencils notepads, coffee, tea and other items for the staff at each school to encourage them to share  information  on the value of becoming a member plus a  PAYDAY bar to remind them that their payday for their retirement starts now.  As we continue to visit other districts  we will continue to add to our Plan 2 and 3 members who are going to get more involved in protecting their own pension benefits.
