Who is PCSRA?

PCSRA members consider themselves to be educators for life. We are retirees and current school employees from many different educational careers such as teachers, counselors, para-educators, school bus drivers and other related school district personnel.

We:

  • Advocate to the legislature for pensions and benefits.
  • Provide mini-grants for teachers
  • Award scholarships to high school seniors, students of college sophomore status and student teachers.

What we do:

  • Provide legislative information to all members within Pierce County
  • Encourage fellowship through general meetings at La Quinta Inn in Tacoma
  • Provide mini-grants and scholarships
  • Publish quarterly newsletter “Happenings”
  • Provide an annual directory of members
