SUMMARY:Volunteer Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:The Catholic Community Kitchen in Olympia serves lunch and dinner six days a week to all “comers.” They serve approximately 382 meals per day: 100 lunches\, 150 dinners six days a week\, and 132 meals to homeless locations five days a week. That’s 2\,160 meals per week\, and each one requires a fork or spoon wrapped in a napkin. Volunteers in teams of six prepare the food\, serve it\, and clean up. Our simple but helpful and necessary task will be to wrap the forks or spoons in napkins. A dozen TCSRA volunteers can easily wrap 500 forks in about an hour\, all the while chatting and enjoying one another’s company. \n(Use the back arrow ← at the top of your computer screen to return to the main calendar page.)
